Job Interview Questions

This Is Your Opportunity

Don’t wing it! Practice!

Treat your job interview like a once in a lifetime opportunity. Don’t go into a job interview unprepared and simply hope for the best. Note that many applicants will not prepare for their interview, so this will be another way for you to separate yourself from the rest of the field.

Study and prepare answers for the most common job interview questions. Many times, you will be asked these specific questions, a variation of these questions, or you will be asked a question that can be answered with one of your previously prepared responses. Interviewers often get their questions from books and other common sources or they may be required, by their company, to ask specific questions. There are many, many more interview questions that can be studied. But, if you prepare answers for each of these questions, during your job interview, you will see that your prepared answers can be quickly restructured to answer many other questions that you may be asked. Having a basic idea of what you are going to say will help you to reduce nervousness at the interview.

Practice answering these job interview questions out loud. If you’re able, have a friend or family member act as the interviewer and critique your responses.
